Job Details

Install and maintain water supply, drainage, and plumbing systems for construction, renovation, and maintenance projects.

Carry out repairs, replacements, modifications, and upgrades to existing plumbing installations to ensure safe and reliable operation.

Inspect plumbing and drainage systems to diagnose leaks, blockages, faults, and other issues and complete the required corrective work.

Install, repair, and adjust sanitary fixtures such as toilets, wash basins, cisterns, faucets, valves, and related plumbing accessories.

Repair, replace, and maintain flushing mechanisms and other plumbing components whenever necessary.

Prepare material requirements and provide specifications for plumbing supplies needed for repair, maintenance, and installation work.

Take preventive measures to minimize recurring plumbing problems and respond promptly to urgent or emergency maintenance requests.

Conduct routine inspections and planned maintenance activities to keep plumbing and drainage systems in good operating condition.

Assist with general facility maintenance and other technical duties assigned by the supervisor or maintenance team.

Ensure all plumbing work is performed according to company safety procedures, technical requirements, and applicable quality standards.

Maintain proper records of completed maintenance work, materials consumed, repairs carried out, and other relevant service activities.

Report significant plumbing faults to the supervisor and recommend appropriate repair, replacement, or improvement solutions when required.

Job Experience Requirements

Completed secondary vocational or technical education in Plumbing, Building Services, or a related trade.

Good practical knowledge of water supply systems, drainage networks, plumbing installations, and sanitary equipment.

Strong understanding of plumbing tools, fittings, materials, equipment, and safe working methods.

Previous practical experience in plumbing, building maintenance, facility maintenance, or a similar technical role is required.

Ability to organize work independently, prioritize urgent tasks, and complete assigned responsibilities with limited supervision.

Willingness to respond to emergency plumbing and maintenance requirements, including work outside regular hours when necessary.

Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify plumbing faults and apply suitable and effective repair solutions.
