Job Details:

Oversee day-to-day mine site operations to maintain safe, stable, and productive working conditions across the site.

Serve as the key communication point between site personnel and senior management, ensuring operational information is shared clearly and promptly.

Provide regular updates to the Director of Operations and Managing Director on production performance, daily progress, workforce matters, and operational challenges.

Develop work schedules and staff rotation plans in coordination with management to maintain adequate workforce coverage and efficient site operations.

Support workforce management activities, including recruitment coordination, employee performance monitoring, attendance matters, and resolution of staff concerns when required.

Maintain accurate production records, daily operating reports, shift information, and other site documentation needed for operational monitoring and management review.

Ensure all mining and site activities are performed according to company policies, established procedures, safety requirements, and operational standards.

Identify operational weaknesses, recurring issues, and areas for improvement and support initiatives designed to increase productivity, efficiency, and overall site performance.

Coordinate activities between production, maintenance, safety, and other site teams to ensure consistent workflow and effective daily operations.

Monitor compliance with safety regulations and site requirements, ensuring employees understand and follow applicable safety rules and procedures.

Job Experience Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory or management position, preferably within mining, heavy industry, industrial operations, or offshore environments.

Educational qualification in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.

Practical experience handling production information, operational reporting, performance monitoring, and data tracking in a demanding work environment.

Strong understanding of workforce management, operational supervision, workplace safety, and production control.

Ability to work independently, take ownership of site responsibilities, and provide effective leadership to operational teams.

Good communication, coordination, and decision-making skills with the ability to respond effectively to daily operational challenges.
