Job Details:

Carry out installation, construction, and maintenance work on optical fiber and copper cable networks according to technical requirements and project plans.

Respond to faults and emergency issues affecting fiber optic lines and take appropriate action to restore network operation as quickly as possible.

Install and maintain low current systems while following approved technical specifications, safety procedures, and installation standards.

Assist with the development of new optical routes and expansion or modernization of existing network infrastructure.

Perform routine maintenance and inspections to support stable and reliable operation of telecommunications and network systems.

Install and expand optical and electrical network infrastructure within data center environments, including related cabling and equipment activities.

Install network and telecommunications equipment in racks and complete structured cabling, labeling, and connection work accurately.

Install and maintain CCTV, access control, and other low current security systems according to project requirements.

Perform fiber splicing, fusion welding, termination, and connection work while maintaining proper installation quality.

Test and measure optical lines using appropriate equipment to verify signal quality, continuity, and required performance levels.

Install optical devices and complete cable termination and connection activities according to technical standards.

Read and interpret technical drawings, network layouts, installation instructions, and project documentation before carrying out assigned work.

Configure and connect active and passive network equipment as required during installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities.

Assist with troubleshooting telecom infrastructure issues and perform corrective maintenance to minimize service interruptions and network downtime.

Maintain basic records of completed installation, testing, maintenance, and fault resolution activities when required.

Job Experience Requirements:

Completed Diploma or higher technical education in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Networking, or a related technical field.

Valid electrical safety certification is required.

Previous experience in telecommunications, fiber optics, structured cabling, electrical networks, or a similar technical role will be considered an advantage.

Willingness and ability to travel for international projects and work at different project locations when required.

Valid driving license with the ability to travel independently to assigned work sites.

Good understanding of optical fiber, copper cabling, low current systems, and basic network infrastructure.

Ability to read technical drawings and follow installation procedures accurately.

Responsible and safety-conscious approach with good attention to detail during installation, testing, and maintenance activities.
