Job Details:

Oversee daily maritime transportation operations and ensure all activities are completed efficiently, safely, and according to schedule.

Supervise operational teams, provide clear direction, and support employees in improving their performance and day-to-day work processes.

Identify opportunities to improve transport efficiency, optimize resources, and maintain effective control over operating costs.

Ensure all maritime transport activities comply with applicable regulations, safety requirements, company procedures, and relevant industry standards.

Coordinate with internal departments to maintain effective communication, resolve operational requirements, and ensure a smooth workflow.

Track operational KPIs and prepare regular performance reports, summaries, and updates for management review and decision-making.

Respond to operational problems promptly, coordinate suitable solutions, and minimize delays or disruptions to transportation activities.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on strengthening logistics processes, service quality, and overall transport performance.

Maintain complete and accurate operational records and ensure all required information is properly entered and updated in company systems.

Assist with daily transport scheduling, workforce planning, and resource allocation to ensure operations remain properly organized and controlled.

Job Experience Requirements

Practical experience using OTMS or other transport management and operational systems.

Previous experience in container transportation, shipping, freight, or maritime logistics will be considered an advantage.

Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to guide staff and maintain effective operational performance.

Ability to make timely decisions, manage unexpected situations, and remain effective under operational pressure.

Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across different departments.

Strong organizational and analytical approach with a clear focus on accuracy, productivity, cost control, and operational efficiency.
