Job Details:

Oversee the day-to-day activities of the maintenance workshop to ensure heavy machinery, vehicles, and equipment remain operational and work is completed efficiently.

Develop and organize preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedules while ensuring all required maintenance tasks are carried out on time.

Manage the purchase and availability of spare parts, monitor stock levels, and ensure workshop materials and resources are used efficiently.

Handle petty cash activities and prepare routine operational and financial reports for management review and decision making.

Supervise workshop employees, distribute daily assignments, and maintain proper coordination and workflow among technical staff.

Track equipment condition and performance, identify maintenance requirements, and take appropriate measures to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.

Ensure workshop maintenance work follows established safety requirements, technical procedures, and company standards.

Participate in improvement initiatives aimed at increasing workshop productivity, equipment reliability, and overall maintenance efficiency.

Maintain clear communication between workshop personnel, technical teams, suppliers, and management to ensure maintenance requirements are addressed effectively.

Assist with preparing maintenance budgets, monitoring expenses, and controlling workshop operating costs according to business requirements.

Job Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Proven experience managing or supervising maintenance workshops involving vehicles, heavy-duty transport, construction machinery, or similar equipment.

Good knowledge of operational planning, spare parts inventory, expense monitoring, and budget control.

Previous experience leading workshop teams, assigning responsibilities, and supervising technical personnel.

Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational abilities with a practical approach to maintenance issues.

Ability to manage several maintenance activities at the same time, prioritize urgent requirements, and ensure assigned work is completed within scheduled timelines.
